Iran has one of the oldest civilizations and biggest empires throughout the history, and probably is the first nation state in the world. Despite its historical importance the tourist industry in Iran has not received the attention it deserves. As such, some of the national heritage might have been claimed by other countries as their own. On the other hand many of the Persian heritage are scattered around the world, being displayed in museums or have been lost. This reflection gave us the motivation to collect all the multidimensional vast Persian heritage (i.e., cultural, scientific, natural) in one place as a mean to protect their identity; this application introduces Iran world heritage in Persian and English for domestic and foreign visitors. We started with over a hundred places, including all the UNESCO registered sites, for the first version. Our goal is to develop the most comprehensive tourist guide application of Persia, to include those national heritage outside the country borders such as the music, castles, fire temples, and Persian gardens, as well.
